Teacher-learning strategies
To get an awareness about the meaning of training and development and need of training.

Learning, supervision, higher morale.

(1)    Training means to import information and skills through instructions
(2)    Training is the method of increasing the knowledge, skills and aptitudes of employee for performing a particular job
(3)    Training purpose is to enable them to do their jobs better
(4)    Training makes newly appointed workers fully productive with minimum time
(5)    Development is the overall formation of an individual
(6)    The development initiate is an organization includes personality development, motivation for growth, carrier planning
(7)    Training is also of great help to the existing employees
(8)    Training helps them to increase their level of performance on their present job assignment
(9)    The need for supervision is minimum. Training does not eliminate the need for supervision. 
(10)The morale of employee increases when they are given proper training
(11)A manager can make use of training to manage in a better way

Training is the act of increasing the knowledge and skills of an employee for doing a particular job. It imports specific skills for specific objects.

To generate an idea about the need of training and its advantage to employees

Students should have an idea about the term training and its importance

             After the routine classroom activities teacher ask  the following question to the students
1.       Define staffing
2.       Explain the steps involved in staffing

Development phase

         Activity-1: General discussion

               Teacher give an activity card to one student and ask to read the students and try to identify the term referred.

       Situation

               Name the process which means increasing knowledge and skills of employees for doing a particular job


Teacher appreciates their answer and explains the term training. Then teacher explains the need for training with the help of PowerPoint slide presentation.

7.       Benefits to employees themselves



                  After explaining the needs of training, teacher explains the advantage of training to employees.

         Teacher shows PowerPoint slide regarding the first advantage of training i.e. improvement of carrier .Teacher explain the point clearly.

            Teacher explains the second advantage of training i.e. ‘increased productivity’. Then teacher gives necessary explanation.

            Slide shows third advantage of training that is ‘less accidents’ and ask students to give explanation.

              Slide shows fourth advantage of training that is ‘high morale’ and teacher gives necessary explanation.
